Ingredients

  • 2 oz Whiskey
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 1 oz simple syrup
  • 2 dashes of Angostura bitters

Preparation

  • Put all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice
  • Shake and then strain in a lowball glass
  • If you have, garnish with a lemon or orange slice

 

I have to say that I like all combinations of “sour” cocktails. It’s like better version of that drink. If you like whiskey cocktails, you will like this. Lemon and sugar don’t mask the whiskey, so after you take a sip, you’ll still have an aftertaste of whiskey in your mouth. This cocktail would be best to make with your favorite whiskey (of course only if it’s not very expensive) 😛
