Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz Blanco Tequila
  • 1 oz Fresh lime juice
  • 3/4 oz Crème de Cassis
  • 1/4 oz Cointreau

Preparation

  • Put all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice
  • Shake
  • Strain in a chilled cocktail glass

This is interesting cocktail because beside Tequila, Cassis gives dryness to this drink. It’s sour and very dry drink. Maybe somebody will even compare this with Sangria but with lots of sourness. If you like sweet drinks, that’s definitely not your drink. But if you like sour and dry drinks, you’ll love it. Oranges (from Cointreau) completely disappear between Cassis and lime. But if you like Margaritas you can call this drink like “Blackcurrant Margarita” – and you’ll love it 🙂 Also, this is a great reason to get your hands on some Creme de Cassis.

Alcohol (strong): 6/10
