Ingredients
- 1 oz Gin
- 1/2 oz dry Vermouth
- 1/2 oz Benedictine
- 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
- Maraschino cherry
Preparation
- Stir everything with ice
- Strain into chilled cocktail glass
- Garnish with cherry
This cocktail is from Savoy book (It’s like Bible of cocktails from 1930). I would say it’s nice after-dinner drink. It’s a classic gin cocktail which is given an extra lift of herbal and slightly spicy essence with the addition of Benedictine and bitters.
Alcohol (strong): 8-9/10
