- 2 oz Brandy
- 1 oz lemon juice
- 1/2 oz Triple Sec
- 1 tsp super fine sugar
- 1 egg
- Put all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake without ice (dry shake)
- Add ice cubes and shake again vigorously
- Strain in a lowball glass with ice
This is my first cocktail with a whole egg. I generally like cocktails with egg white so I guessed I would like and this one. It has Brandy/citrus smell and after a sip, you feel silky thickness from an egg. It is sour drink, but not so sour that overpowers everything else. I think Brandy lovers will love it because it’s nice bright yellow cocktail and in it Brandy plays nice with a smooth creaminess and little bit of citrus – all playing well together.
Probably, some of you would like to drink it in the winter because it will remind you in a way of an eggnog…….
