Ingredients

  • 2 oz Brandy
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz Triple Sec
  • 1 tsp super fine sugar
  • 1 egg

Preparation

  • Put all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake without ice (dry shake)
  • Add ice cubes and shake again vigorously
  • Strain in a lowball glass with ice

This is my first cocktail with a whole egg. I generally like cocktails with egg white so I guessed I would like and this one. It has Brandy/citrus smell and after a sip, you feel silky thickness from an egg. It is sour drink, but not so sour that overpowers everything else. I think Brandy lovers will love it because it’s nice bright yellow cocktail and in it Brandy plays nice with a smooth creaminess and little bit of citrus – all playing well together.
Probably, some of you would like to drink it in the winter because it will remind you in a way of an eggnog…….
